Published Attendee Book Sale Guidelines

As a special benefit to our members, registered conference attendees are eligible to sell their Published and Listed (PAL) books, as well as self-published titles, through Flashlight Books in Walnut Creek, which will be open throughout the conference day.

Traditionally-Published Authors (with publishers on the PAL list): You may submit 1 (one) children’s book title that is still in print by August 1.

If you meet the above criteria, but your book is no longer in print, you may follow the same consignment option as self-published authors.

Self-Published Authors: If you are a self-published author with a children’s book that has been published in the past five years, you must inform our bookseller of 1 (one) self-published title by August 1 (email below.) Before the start of the conference, bring up to 5 (five) copies to be sold on consignment. At the end of the day, retrieve any unsold books or they will be donated. Shoshana Smith will reach out to you to confirm the details of handling and payment of any sold books.

To Participate: Please submit (1) book title to Shoshana Smith (shoshana (at) flashlightbooks (dot) com) at Flashlight Books by the 8/1 deadline:

Subject line should read:

Oktoberfest 19 Consignment Book

or

Oktoberfest 19 PAL Book

In the body of the email, please state the title of your book and your full name as it appears on the cover.
