Join Michael Genhart, author of They’re So Flamboyant, in a zoom conversation with Magination Press Editorial Director Kristine Enderle (r), and Jackie Azúa Kramer (c) and Cindy Derby (l), author and illustrator of The Boy and the Gorilla, which received three starred reviews, won the SCBWI Crystal Kite Award, and was named a Bank Street Best Children’s Book.

Jen Alvarez believes in writing fast and editing slow and in this presentation, she will explain why. She’ll encourage your creative spirit and give practical tips on drafting fast.
Jennifer Lynn Alvarez is the author of ten published novels, including the YA thriller Lies Like Wildfire and two middle-grade fantasy series. She earned her BA in English Literature from the University of California, Berkeley.

Mother and Son artists are teaming up to share knowledge and insight on the digital tool Procreate. 
 
Terry Kole has had an amazing career. From illustrating children’s books, cartooning for newspapers, running an art business, and teaching art to the next generations, she combines her love of art, and her love of all things kids! 
Art runs in Nicholas Kole’s blood; Working full time from his iPad Pro in Procreate, he draws dragons, wizards, and cute kids for companies like Disney, DreamWorks, Blizzard, Nintendo, and many more!
