Have you ever considered writing articles for a children’s magazine? The children’s magazine market is a good way to get your foot in the door in a very competitive publishing industry, get a byline, and build your writing resume. Magazines need more content, can provide ample opportunities for writers, and most of the time, you get to see your work in print a lot faster than publishing a book.

Join Colette Weil Parrinello and Natasha Yim, two experienced magazine writers, as they take you through the process of searching for magazines looking for submissions, crafting a query letter, researching topics, finding primary and secondary sources, and the pros and cons of writing for children’s magazines.
