Welcome to the wonderful world of children's writers and illustrators! We are a creative tribe that educates, encourages and supports each other to reach new heights of professionalism in our crafts – All to develop the highest quality literature for children.
TWO DAYS THIS YEAR – Members May Choose 1 or 2 Days. Non-Members May Choose Conference Only
Oct. 17 is a full day Intensive FOR MEMBERS ONLY: Pro Marketing Workshop Open
Oct. 18 is a full day conference. You select the breakout sessions you wish to attend. Members may register for Oct 17 only, or Oct 18 only, or both days. Non members may register for the Conference only.

Non-Member: NOT ELIGIBLE FOR THE INTENSIVES
Bag lunch choices are available for $15 (place order at registration), or bring your own.
(There will be no special orders. Please bring your lunch if you have special dietary needs.)

Cancellation Policy: Cancel by 10/1 for full refund. After 10/1, you will receive a refund if we are able to sell your seat.

Our conference has a blockbuster line-up of speakers. Programs and breakout sessions are for pre-published and published writers and illustrators.
Register for the breakout sessions that best fit your needs. Please choose your sessions carefully. We are unable to make changes for you. All breakout sessions require a ticket for entry. You may only attend the session that you are ticketed for.

PAL Bookstore – You can get all our speakers publications right at the conference plus check out the excellent selection of writing and illustration craft books, courtesy of our generous bookseller and friend, Luan Stauss, of Laurel Bookstore in Oakland.
