Refund Policy

Full conference refund minus $25 administrative fee until Saturday, September 5.
After 9/5, there is a 50% refund only if the space can be filled from the wait list, if there is a wait list.
If your place cannot be filled from the waitlist after 9/5, a refund will only be given in case of military service or a death in the family.

NO CANCELLATIONS AFTER OCTOBER 7 – except for exceptional cicumstances.

Conference Add-ons

  • Written manuscript critiques: $45. Electronic Submission Deadline is 8/5. See Submission Guidelines in the event menu (upper right).  The $45 written critique fee is non-refundable and you will not receive a critique if you miss the August 5th, 2017 electronic submission deadline or cancel your conference registration.

  • Choose a bag lunch for $12.50 or bring your own lunch. If you have dietary needs or restrictions, please bring your own lunch. See selections on General Information link in the event menu.

  • Portfolio Showcase and participation in the “Best in Conference” judging is free with conference registration. See guidelines in event menu. Sign up during online registration by 9/5.

  • Personal Portfolio Consultation: $65 for 15 minutes (Register early. There is a limited number of slots.)

  • SCBWI Published Author/Illustrator Book Signing is free with conference registration. Sign up during your registration process. Deadline is 9/5 to sign up. See guidelines in event menu.
