The San Francisco North & East Bay Region is thrilled to now offer Virtual Book Launches to our PAL members! We’ve designed this event as another way to promote, support, and celebrate our PAL authors and illustrators.
What is a virtual book launch (VBL)?
A VBL is an online book release event where we host a reading, Q&A, and short social with authors and illustrators about their newly-released children’s books.
All formats welcome. And depending on the number of members’ books released each month, we may have one participant or we may have several. And members who don’t make a live slot through the SignUp Genius form (First come, first serve basis) will still be featured. Details to follow.
When do these events take place?
At the moment, we’re still navigating a set schedule. But our first book launch is scheduled for Sunday, April 25th, 2021! We’re planning to do this quarterly, but dependent on response may change the frequency.
Where do these events take place?
Online via Zoom. We are also thinking of live-streaming the event via our Instagram. Attendees will have to register for the event and for replays. A Zoom Link for the VBL will be sent to all registered attendees. And a replay link will be sent to registered participants within 24 hours of the event. Replays will be available for 30 days.
Sunday, April 25, 2021, 10:30 a.m – 12:30 p.m. Register now!
How do I sign up?
If you had a book release between January, February, and March of 2021, please use sign-up for a slot through the SignUp Genius Form below. All formats welcome.
